What is the Intergalactic Dating Agency?

The Intergalactic Dating Agency (IDA) is a massive multi-author collaborative project dedicated to sci-fi alien romance. Created in 2016 by Tasha Black and a passionate group of visionary romance authors, the IDA has grown into a sprawling universe of love across the stars. Our authors are united by a shared theme—fated mates, mail-order brides in space, and of course, intergalactic matchmaking—along with coordinated cover styles that let you know you’re picking up an official IDA romance.

However, each author writes their own fully independent series. There is no shared fictional universe, no crossover characters, and absolutely no required reading order across the different series. You can dive into any author’s world at any time without missing a beat!

Authors regularly join and rotate through the project, and over the years, the IDA roster has expanded to feature more than twenty incredible, contributing voices in the alien romance genre.
